Terra Novak Art

    Terra Novak was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has pursued a love of drawing and painting from a very young age. Terra was greatly influenced in fine arts by her mother Annette Novak, who studied at Columbus College of Art and Design. The classical styles of art have always been compelling to Terra and inspired her to further pursue studies in fine art at Laguna College of Art & Design in Laguna Beach, California.

 

    Terra is a contemporary realist painter with an emphasis in portraiture. Though experienced in various mediums, she has found a love for painting in oil. She strives to create a connection with the viewer through portraiture. By capturing the sitter in a natural setting, she is able to communicate their true character and spirit in her work. She pays careful attention to composition, and lighting as they are specific to each individual painting.
